The verse highlights dharmic conduct through respectful honoring of worthy persons and the moral act of entrusting one’s dearest responsibility (a child) to a figure regarded as reliable and protective, reflecting faith, goodwill, and social-ethical order.
After receiving and honoring two heroic men with great affection, the queen personally places her son into Krishna’s lap—an intimate gesture of trust, welcome, and symbolic handing over to a revered guardian.
