स चास्य प्रतिजग्राह ससुतः शासनं तदा । प्रीतिपूर्व महाराज वासुदेवमवेक्ष्य च
sa cāsya pratijagrāha sasutaḥ śāsanaṃ tadā | prītipūrva mahārāja vāsudevam avekṣya ca ||
Then he, together with his son, accepted that command. O great king, he did so with goodwill and respect, and after looking toward Vāsudeva—signaling assent grounded in reverence and right conduct.
