Jarā’s Account and the Enthronement of Jarāsandha (जरासंधोत्पत्तिः अभिषेकश्च)
एतावदेव पुरुषै: कार्य हृदयतोषणम् | नयेन विधिदृष्टेन यदुपक्रमते परान्,अतः: वीर पुरुषोंका इतना ही कर्तव्य है कि वे अपने हृदयके संतोषके लिये नीतिशास्त्रमें बतायी हुई नीतिके अनुसार शत्रुओंपर आक्रमण करें
etāvad eva puruṣaiḥ kāryaṃ hṛdayatoṣaṇam | nayena vidhidṛṣṭena yad upakramate parān |
Vāyu said: “For men of valor, this alone is the duty that satisfies the heart: to undertake action against opponents in accordance with the policy and discipline laid down by proper rule—attacking not out of impulse, but guided by recognized ethical strategy.”
