Vāyudeva said: “O King, for one born in the Bhārata lineage—and especially for a son of a mother like Kuntī—this is the fitting kind of discernment that ought to be present. Here Arjuna has displayed precisely that proper judgment.”
वायुदेव उवाच
Noble birth and virtuous upbringing carry an ethical obligation: one should exhibit fitting discernment (yuktā matiḥ). Arjuna is held up as an example of appropriate, dharma-aligned judgment.
Vāyudeva addresses the king and commends Arjuna’s counsel, stating that such sound judgment is exactly what is expected from a Bhārata prince and Kuntī’s son.
