गृहे गृहे हि राजान: स्वस्य स्वस्य प्रियंकरा: । न च साम्राज्यमाप्तास्ते सम्राट्छब्दो हि कृच्छूभाक्
Translation
“These days, there are ‘kings’ in every house, each doing what pleases him. Yet they do not attain the rank of ‘emperor’, for the title of emperor is won only with great difficulty.”
