भये तु समतिक्रान्ते जरासंधे समुद्यते । मन्त्रो<यं मन्त्रितो राजन् कुलैरष्टादशावरै:
Translation
“Thus the fear of Kaṃsa passed away; yet Jarāsandha, enraged, rose up, intent on taking vengeance upon us. O King, at that time the eighteen clans of the Bhoja line—ministers, priests, and others—gathered together and deliberated as follows…”
