teṣāṃ ca pṛṣṭhato rājā balena mahatā vṛtaḥ | jayadrathas tato rājā sūcīpāśaśve vyavasthitaḥ ||
Sañjaya said: “Behind them, King Jayadratha—surrounded by a great force—took his position on the flank of the Sūcī (needle) formation.”
संजय उवाच
