Sañjaya said: Then, having reached the inner apartments, he knelt on the ground on both knees. Bowing his head, he paid reverence to that venerable lord of men, King Yudhiṣṭhira, and respectfully informed the noble-hearted one that Hṛṣīkeśa (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) was approaching.

The verse highlights dharmic conduct in governance: humility before rightful authority, disciplined court etiquette, and truthful, timely communication. Even in a war context, order and respect are upheld as ethical foundations of leadership.
A palace attendant/messenger enters the inner quarters, kneels, salutes King Yudhiṣṭhira, and reports that Śrī Kṛṣṇa (Hṛṣīkeśa) is arriving. It sets up an imminent audience or counsel involving Kṛṣṇa.
