सुप्यतां पार्थ भद्रें ते कल्याणाय व्रजाम्पहम् | स्थापयित्वा ततो द्वाःस्थान् 8 श्चात्तायुधान् नरान्
sañjaya uvāca | supyatāṃ pārtha bhadraṃ te kalyāṇāya vrajāmaham | sthāpayitvā tato dvāḥsthān śastrāyudhān narān |
Sañjaya said: “Sleep, O Pārtha; may good befall you. I shall go forth for your welfare.” Then, having stationed armed men at the doorway as guards, he proceeded.
संजय उवाच
Even amid war, one must uphold responsible care: ensuring another’s rest and safety, arranging protection, and acting for the welfare (kalyāṇa) of those entrusted to one’s duty.
Sañjaya addresses Pārtha, urging him to sleep without fear, and states that he will go on an errand for Pārtha’s welfare after posting armed guards at the doorway.
