द्रोणकर्णमुखै: षड्भिर्धार्तराष्ट्रमहारथै: । एको<यं निहतः शेते नैष धर्मो मतो हि न:,ट्रोण और कर्ण आदि छ: कौरव महारथियोंके द्वारा असहाय अवस्थामें मारा गया यह एक बालक यहाँ सो रहा है। हमारे मतमें यह धर्म नहीं है

droṇakarṇamukhaiḥ ṣaḍbhir dhārtarāṣṭramahārathaiḥ | eko 'yaṃ nihataḥ śete naiṣa dharmo mato hi naḥ ||

Sañjaya said: “Struck down by six great chariot-warriors of the Dhṛtarāṣṭras—headed by Droṇa and Karṇa—this lone boy lies here slain, helpless. In our judgment, this is not dharma.”
