Sañjaya said: Then Arjuni—true to his vow and hard to withstand—entered your army and threw it into turmoil, just as a mighty makara churns the ocean into agitation.

The verse highlights satyasaṃdha—steadfast truthfulness to one’s vow—as a moral power that manifests as fearless, disciplined action even amid the violence and confusion of battle.
Sañjaya describes Abhimanyu, Arjuna’s son, entering the enemy formation and causing widespread panic and disorder, compared to a great sea-creature stirring the ocean.
