अरुणस्य तु तस्यानु जातरूपसमप्रभम्‌ | रश्मिजालं महच्चन्द्रो मन्‍्दं मन्दमवासृजत्‌,अरुण कान्तिके पश्चात्‌ चन्द्रदेवने धीरे-धीरे सुवर्णके समान प्रभावाले विशाल किरण- जालका प्रसार आरम्भ किया

aruṇasya tu tasyānu jātarūpasamaprabham | raśmijālaṃ mahācandro mandaṃ mandam avāsṛjat |

Sañjaya said: Following that Aruṇa, the great Moon began to release—slowly, little by little—a vast net of rays, shining with the splendor of molten gold.
