Sañjaya said: They cried aloud, “Karṇa! Karṇa!” and also, “O King Duryodhana!” Then they called out in a loud voice, “Cease the fighting, for the Pāṇḍava host has withdrawn from battle.”

Even amid war’s momentum, a perceived withdrawal prompts a call to stop—highlighting how restraint, timing, and the recognition of a pause in violence can momentarily surface ethical awareness and strategic recalibration.
Kaurava soldiers (as reported by Sañjaya) loudly call out to Karṇa and King Duryodhana, urging them to halt the battle because the Pāṇḍava forces are said to have ceased fighting/withdrawn.
