विनाभूत: स गदया जरासंधो महामृधे । निहतो भीमसेनेन पश्यतस्ते धनंजय,धनंजय! उस महासमरमें जरासंध बिना गदाके हो गया था; इसीलिये तुम्हारे देखते- देखते भीमसेनने उसे मार डाला
vinābhūtaḥ sa gadayā jarāsandho mahāmṛdhe | nihato bhīmasenena paśyataste dhanañjaya dhanañjaya ||
O Dhanañjaya, in that great combat Jarāsandha was left without his mace; therefore, even as you watched, Bhīmasena struck him down.
