विद्धश्न बहुभिस्तेन शरैराशीविषोपमै: । ततो युधिष्ठिरानीकं पद्धयामेवान्वपद्यत,उस समय कर्णने विषधर सर्पके समान भयंकर एवं बहुसंख्यक बाणोंद्वारा उन्हें क्षत- विक्षत कर दिया। फिर वे युधिष्ठिरकी सेनामें पैदल ही चले गये
sañjaya uvāca | viddhaś ca bahubhis tena śarair āśīviṣopamaiḥ | tato yudhiṣṭhirānīkaṃ paddhyām evānvapadyata |
Sañjaya said: Struck and torn by his many arrows—terrible as venomous serpents—he then made his way on foot into Yudhiṣṭhira’s battle-array.
