यथा विसृजतश्चास्य संदधानस्य चाशुगान् । पश्यामि नान्तरं पार्थ क्षपयिष्यति नो ध्रुवम्,“कर्ण कब बाणोंको धनुषपर रखता है और कब उन्हें छोड़ता है, इसमें तनिक भी अन्तर मुझे नहीं दिखायी देता है। इससे जान पड़ता है यह निश्चय ही हमारी सारी सेनाका संहार कर डालेगा
Translation
“When he fits his swift arrows to the bow and when he releases them, O Pārtha, I see no interval at all between the two; therefore he will surely destroy our entire army.”
