निहत्य भीमो नाराचै: शतचन्द्रमपोथयत्‌ | भारत! तत्पश्चात्‌ वीर भीमसेनने आपके सालोंमेंसे सात रथियोंको नाराचोंद्वारा मारकर शतचन्द्रको भी कालके गालमें भेज दिया

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

nihatya bhīmo nārācaiḥ śatacandram apothayat |

bhārata! tatpaścāt vīro bhīmasenena āpake sālōṃmese sāta rathiyōṃko nārācōṃdvārā mārakara śatacandrako'pi kālaka gālameṃ bheja diyā

Translation

Sañjaya said: Having slain them, Bhima struck down Śatacandra with sharp nārāca arrows. O descendant of Bharata, thereafter the heroic Bhimasena, with nārācas, killed seven chariot-warriors from among your men and sent Śatacandra too into the jaws of Death.
