ततः कृष्णो महाबाहू रजतप्रतिमान्‌ हयान्‌ । हयज्ञश्नोदयामास जयद्रथवध्ध॑ प्रति,तब अभश्वविद्याके ज्ञाता महाबाहु श्रीकृष्णने जयद्रथको मारनेके उद्देश्स्से उसकी ओर चाँदीके समान श्वेत घोड़ोंको हाँका

tataḥ kṛṣṇo mahābāhu rajatapratimān hayān | hayajñaḥ nodayāmāsa jayadrathavadhaṃ prati ||

Sañjaya said: Then Kṛṣṇa, the mighty-armed, skilled in the art of driving horses, urged on the steeds—white like silver—pressing forward with the resolve to accomplish Jayadratha’s slaying.
