Educational Q&A

The verse highlights tejas (heroic radiance) grounded in kṣatriya-dharma: steadfast courage in a righteous cause is strengthened by loyal companions, and such supported resolve becomes visibly powerful—like fire.

Sañjaya describes Arjuna on the battlefield appearing brilliantly radiant, likened to blazing fire; the contextual note indicates he is being protected/covered by Bhīmasena and Sātyaki as he advances in combat.
