Adhyāya 141 — Night duels: Śaineya and Bhūriśravas; Droṇi and Ghaṭotkaca; Bhīma and Duryodhana
तयोरासीत् सम्प्रहार: क्रुद्धयोर्नरसिंहयो:
tayor āsīt samprahāraḥ kruddhayor narasiṁhayoḥ
Sañjaya said: Then a fierce clash arose between the two—both enraged, like man-lions—each meeting the other head-on in the heat of battle.

The verse highlights how unchecked anger intensifies conflict: when warriors become 'kruddha' (enraged), the encounter turns into a brutal 'samprahāra' (close-quarters clash). It implicitly cautions that valor without restraint can magnify violence, even while depicting the kshatriya ideal of fearless engagement.
Sanjaya reports that two opposing champions (not named in this single line) have come into direct, furious hand-to-hand engagement, compared to two lion-like men colliding in battle.
