Adhyāya 141 — Night duels: Śaineya and Bhūriśravas; Droṇi and Ghaṭotkaca; Bhīma and Duryodhana

अन्योन्यं समरे क़रुद्धो कृतप्रतिकृतेषिणौ । वे अपनी हथेलियोंके शब्दसे एक-दूसरेको डराते हुए युद्धसस्‍्थलमें विविध बाणसमूहोंद्वारा परस्पर त्रास पहुँचा रहे थे। वे दोनों वीर समरमें कुपित हो एक-दूसरेके किये हुए प्रहारका प्रतीकार करनेकी अभिलाषा रखते थे

In the press of battle, both were inflamed with wrath, each longing to repay the blows dealt by the other. With the clap of their palms and fierce threats they sought to daunt one another, and with volleys of many kinds of arrows they inflicted terror back and forth.
