ताभ्यां दुर्योधन: सार्थमकरोत्‌ संख्यमुत्तमम्‌ । त्वरितस्त्वरमाणाभ्यां भ्रातृभ्यां भारतो बली,तब उस बलवान्‌ भरतवंशी वीर दुर्योधनने तुरंत आगे बढ़कर बड़ी उतावलीके साथ आते हुए उन दोनों भाइयोंके साथ भारी युद्ध छेड़ दिया

tābhyāṃ duryodhanaḥ sārtham akarot saṅkhyam uttamam | tvaritas tvaramāṇābhyāṃ bhrātṛbhyāṃ bhārato balī ||

Droṇa said: “Duryodhana, the mighty scion of Bharata’s line, swiftly advanced and, with those two brothers who were themselves rushing forward in haste, joined battle in a fierce and decisive combat.”
