Śaineya’s Breakthrough and Reunion with Arjuna (शैनेयस्य समागमः)
द्वाभ्यां शराभ्यां हार्दिक्यो निजघान द्विधा तदा । उस समय अपने ऊपर आती हुई प्रलयकालकी अग्निके समान उस शक्तिको सहसा दो बाण मारकर कृतवर्माने उसके दो टुकड़े कर दिये | ७३ $ ।। सा छिन्ना पतिता भूमौ शक्ति: कनकभूषणा
dvābhyāṃ śarābhyāṃ hārdikyo nijaghāna dvidhā tadā | sā chinnā patitā bhūmau śaktiḥ kanakabhūṣaṇā ||
Sañjaya said: Then Hārdikya (Kṛtavarman) struck it with two arrows and split it in two. That golden-ornamented śakti, severed, fell to the ground.
संजय उवाच
Even amid overwhelming danger, disciplined skill and presence of mind can restrain destructive force; the verse highlights alert defense and mastery rather than reckless aggression.
A śakti (javelin-like weapon), described as gold-adorned, is intercepted by Kṛtavarman (Hārdikya), who strikes it with two arrows and splits it; the severed weapon falls to the ground.
