Sañjaya said: When Sātyaki, the son of Śini, whose prowess never fails, had entered your army, the Pāṇḍavas—led by Bhīmasena—advanced to strike your great host.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights kṣatriya-dharma in wartime: when a decisive action occurs (Sātyaki breaking into the enemy host), comrades respond promptly under capable leadership (Bhīma at the front). It reflects the ethical expectation of courage, solidarity, and readiness to meet aggression in a righteous cause.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Sātyaki has penetrated the Kaurava army. In response, the Pāṇḍavas, led by Bhīma, surge forward to attack and engage the Kaurava battle-array.
