ततस्तौ द्रोणशैनेयौ युयुधाते परंतपौ । शरैरनेकसाहसैस्ताडयन्तौ परस्परम्‌,फिर तो शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले द्रोणाचार्य और सात्यकि एक-दूसरेपर सहस्ंरों बाणोंका प्रहार करते हुए युद्ध करने लगे

Transliteration

tatastau droṇaśaineyau yuyudhāte parantapau | śarair anekasāhasais tāḍayantau parasparam ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: Then Droṇa and Śaineya (Sātyaki)—both tormentors of their foes—engaged each other in battle, striking one another with many thousands of arrows.
