नदन्तो भैरवान् नादांस्त्रासयन्तश्न भूमिपान् | 'ये महाधनुर्धर पाण्डव महारथी कुपित हो भीमसेनको आगे करके दुर्योधनपर धावा कर रहे हैं और विजयका दृढ़ संकल्प ले नाना प्रकारके अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंकी वर्षा करते हुए भैरव गर्जना करते तथा भूमिपालोंको त्रास पहुँचाते हैं!
Translation
Roaring with dreadful cries, they struck terror into the kings, the lords of the earth. The Pāṇḍava great chariot-warriors, mighty bowmen, though aflame with wrath, set Bhīmasena in the van and charged at Duryodhana; with victory sworn in steadfast resolve, they rained down weapons of many kinds, thundering fearsome shouts and shaking the hearts of rulers.
