Daiva–Puruṣakāra Discourse and the Elephant-Corps Engagement (भीमगजानीक-सम्भ्रान्ति)
धर्मराजश्न तान् सर्वानिपजग्राह पाण्डव: । महता मेघवर्णेन नागानीकेन पृष्ठत:,तत्पश्चात् पाण्डुनन्दन धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर मेघोंकी घटाके समान हाथियोंकी विशाल सेना साथ लिये पीछेसे आकर उन सबकी सहायता करने लगे
sañjaya uvāca | dharmarājaś ca tān sarvān upajagrāha pāṇḍavaḥ | mahatā meghavarṇena nāgānīkena pṛṣṭhataḥ |
Sañjaya said: Then Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira, the Pāṇḍava, came forward and took all of them under his protection and support. From behind he advanced with a vast elephant-corps, dark as a mass of rain-clouds, reinforcing them.
