Sañjaya said: Seeing him unconscious and despondent, the charioteer—without the least panic—swiftly drew him away from the battlefield, in full view of everyone. The scene underscores disciplined duty in war: even amid public scrutiny and crisis, one must act with steadiness and presence of mind to protect life and uphold one’s role.

Steadiness (asambhrama) in crisis is a form of dharma: one should perform one’s role with clarity and courage, protecting life and acting decisively even under public pressure.
A warrior (referred to as “him”) has become unconscious and dispirited; the charioteer, remaining calm, quickly removes him from the battlefield while everyone watches.
