Droṇa–Dhṛṣṭadyumna-yuddha (द्रोण-धृष्टद्युम्न-युद्धम्) — Tactical duel and allied interventions
तदपास्य भनुश्कछिन्न॑ कुन्तीपुत्रो युधिष्िर: । अन्यत् कार्मुकमादाय वेगवद् बलवत्तरम्
tad apāsya dhanuṣka-chinnaṁ kuntīputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | anyat kārmukam ādāya vegavad balavattaram |
Sañjaya said: Yudhiṣṭhira, the son of Kuntī, cast aside the bow that had been cut and, taking up another bow swifter and stronger, covered Śalya, the king of Madra, with sharp arrows. Then, filled with wrath, he cried, “Stand! Stand!”
