तौ वीक्ष्य तु महात्मानौ कृतिनौ चित्रयोधिनौ
tau vīkṣya tu mahātmānau kṛtinau citrayodhinau
Sañjaya said: Having looked upon those two great-souled men—accomplished and wondrous in battle—(the scene on the field turns toward their presence and prowess), setting the moral weight of the coming combat against the stature of the warriors involved.
