सम्बन्ध-- उपर्युक्त श्लोकोंनें भगवान्की प्राप्तिके लिये अलग-अलग साधन बतलाकर उनका फल परमेश्वरकी प्राप्ति बतलाया गया; अतएव भगवान्को प्राप्त हुए सिद्ध भक्तोंके लक्षण जाननेकी इच्छा होनेपर अब सात शलोकोंमें उन भगवत्प्राप्त भक्तोंके लक्षण बतलाये जाते हैं-- काल सर्वभूतानां मैत्र: करूण एव च | निर्ममो निरहंकार: समदुःखसुख: क्षमी
arjuna uvāca | kālaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ maitraḥ karuṇa eva ca | nirmamo nirahaṅkāraḥ samaduḥkhasukhaḥ kṣamī |
The devotee who is free from hostility toward all beings, who is friendly and compassionately kind without ulterior motive; who is without possessiveness and without ego; who remains even-minded in pleasure and pain and is forgiving—such a person bears the marks of one who has truly attained the Lord.
अजुन उवाच
