वेदेषु यज्ञेषु तप:सु चैव दानेषु यत्‌ पुण्यफलं प्रदिष्टम्‌ अत्येति तत्सरवमिदं विदित्वा योगी परं स्थानमुपैति चाद्यम्‌,योगी पुरुष इस रहस्यको तत्त्वसे जानकरु वेदोंके पढ़नेमें तथा यज्ञ, तप और दानादिके करनेमें जो पुण्पफल कहा है, उस सबको निःसंदेह उल्लंघन कर जाता है: और सनातन परम पदको प्राप्त होता है

Transliteration

vedeṣu yajñeṣu tapaḥsu caiva dāneṣu yat puṇyaphalaṁ pradiṣṭam | atyeti tat sarvam idaṁ viditvā yogī paraṁ sthānam upaiti cādyam ||

Translation

Arjuna said: Having truly understood this secret, the yogin surpasses all the merit declared to arise from Vedic study, sacrificial rites, austerities, and acts of charity; and he attains the primordial, highest, eternal state.
