Sañjaya said: O King, O lord of men—your troops and your sons are being fought by them as if with delight. The heroic Pāṇḍavas, together with the sons of Bhīṣma, remembering the many and varied hardships inflicted by you, have cast off fear in battle; eager to attain Brahmaloka, they have entered the fight with great joy against your soldiers and your sons.

The verse frames battle-readiness as a dharmic resolve: remembering endured injustices, the warriors abandon fear and act with steadfastness, viewing death in righteous combat as a gateway to a higher world (Brahmaloka).
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the Pāṇḍavas (with allies) are vigorously engaging Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s troops and sons, fighting with visible exhilaration, motivated by past sufferings and by the aspiration for a heavenly end.
