Measurements and Description of Śākadvīpa
चन्द्रादित्यौ महाराज संक्षेपो5यमुदाह्नत: । इत्येतत् ते महाराज पृच्छत: शास्त्रचक्षुषा
candradityau mahārāja saṅkṣepo ’yam udāhṛtaḥ | ity etat te mahārāja pṛcchataḥ śāstracakṣuṣā ||
Sañjaya said: “O King, I have thus stated in brief the matter concerning the Moon and the Sun. This is what I have declared to you, O great king, in response to your inquiry—an inquiry made with the discerning eye of sacred knowledge.”
