Shloka 75

चेदिकाशिकरूषाणां सहस्राणि चतुर्दश । महारथा: समाख्याता: कुलपुत्रास्तनुत्यज:

cedikāśikarūṣāṇāṃ sahasrāṇi caturdaśa | mahārathāḥ samākhyātāḥ kulaputrās tanutyajaḥ ||

Sañjaya said: “From the lands of Cedi, Kāśi, and Karūṣa there were fourteen thousand warriors renowned as mahārathas—noble-born men, famed for their prowess, and ready to lay down their lives in steadfast commitment to the Pāṇḍavas.”
