तावन्योन्यं महाराज समासाद्य महाहवे । अन्योन्यवेगाभिहतौ निपेततुररिंदमौ
tāv anyonyaṁ mahārāja samāsādya mahāhave | anyonya-vegābhihatāu nipetatur ariṁdamau ||
Sañjaya said: O King, those two heroes closed with one another in that great battle; struck by the force of each other’s onrush, the two foe-subduers fell to the earth, grievously wounded.
