इस प्रकार श्रीमह्या भारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत भीष्मवधपर्वमें भीमसेन और अर्जुनका पराक्रमविषयक एक सौ चौदहवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārate bhīṣmaparvaṇi antargate bhīṣmavadhaparvaṇi bhīmasena-arjunayoḥ parākramaviṣayaka ekaśata-caturdaśottara-adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

Thus ends the one hundred and fourteenth chapter of the Bhīṣma Parva of the Śrī Mahābhārata, within the section on Bhīṣma’s slaying, describing the valor of Bhīmasena and Arjuna. The closing formula frames the tale as a record of dharma amid war, honoring heroic effort in service of a greater moral order.
