Adhyāya 112: Bhīṣma-prati Arjunasya Pravṛttiḥ
Arjuna’s Forward Drive Toward Bhīṣma
ते पाण्डवेया: संरब्धा महेष्वासेन पीडिता: । वधायाभ्यद्रवन् भीष्मं॑ सूंजयाश्व महारथा:
te pāṇḍaveyāḥ saṃrabdhā maheṣvāsena pīḍitāḥ | vadhāyābhyadravan bhīṣmaṃ sūñjayāśva-mahārathāḥ ||
Sañjaya said: The sons of Pāṇḍu, enraged and hard-pressed by the great archer’s assault, rushed upon Bhīṣma with the intent to slay him; and the mighty chariot-warrior Sūñjayāśva too charged forward.
