भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ११०: पार्थभीमयोः प्रहारः तथा भीष्माभिमुखं संग्रामविस्तारः
Arjuna and Bhima’s pressure; escalation toward Bhishma
अनुज्ञातं तु पार्थेन मया कार्य न संशय: । अथवा फाल्गुनस्यैष भार: परिमितो रणे
anujñātaṃ tu pārthena mayā kāryaṃ na saṃśayaḥ | athavā phālgunasya eṣa bhāraḥ parimito raṇe ||
Sañjaya said: “Since Pārtha has granted permission, it is my duty to act—there is no doubt of it. Or rather, on the battlefield this burden is but a small one for Phālguna (Arjuna).”

The verse highlights dharma as disciplined action: once rightful permission is given and a vow or obligation is in view, one should carry out one’s duty without doubt; for a true warrior like Arjuna, such responsibility is not overwhelming.
Sañjaya reports a moment of resolve: with Arjuna’s consent, he affirms that the required action must be done, and he underscores Arjuna’s capacity—implying that the task at hand is a manageable burden for him amid the battle.
