गजमध्यमनुप्राप्त: पाण्डव: स व्यराजत
gajamadhyam anuprāptaḥ pāṇḍavaḥ sa vyarājata
Sañjaya said: Having reached the midst of the elephants, that Pāṇḍava shone forth—conspicuous in the press of battle—signaling steadfast courage and disciplined resolve amid war’s chaos.
संजय उवाच
Even amid overwhelming force (the elephant formation), a righteous warrior’s steadiness and courage can make him stand out; the verse highlights disciplined valor as part of kṣātra-dharma in the battlefield context.
Sañjaya reports that a Pāṇḍava warrior has advanced into the center of the enemy’s elephants and is seen shining prominently there, indicating a bold penetration into a formidable battle formation.
