Sañjaya said: O best of men, after routing all your forces, Abhimanyu stood firm, O King, blazing like a smokeless fire.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights focused, disciplined courage in the performance of one’s duty: Abhimanyu’s prowess is compared to a smokeless fire—power that is intense yet clear, suggesting valor guided by steadiness rather than confusion or moral haze.
Sanjaya reports to King Dhritarashtra that Abhimanyu has driven the Kaurava troops into flight and now stands blazing on the battlefield, his presence dominating the scene like a bright, smokeless flame.
