राजपूजाविधानम् / Royal Reception Protocols during Āśvamedha Preparations
तत्र वेदविदो राजंश्नक्रु: कर्माणि याजका: । परिक्रमन्त: सर्वज्ञा विधिवत् साधुशिक्षितम्
tatra vedavido rājanś cakruḥ karmāṇi yājakāḥ | parikramantaḥ sarvajñā vidhivat sādhu-śikṣitam ||
There, O King, the officiating priests—learned in the Vedas and skilled in the whole procedure—had the rites performed in full. Moving about on all sides, those all-knowing ritualists carried out and supervised the sacrificial acts exactly according to rule, as taught by the virtuous and well-trained tradition.
