Marutta Seeks Saṃvarta’s Priestly Support; Conditions, Truth-Discipline, and Rival Powers
संवर्त उवाच चिकीर्षसि यथाकामं सर्वमेतत् त्वयि ध्रुवम् यदि सर्वानभिप्रायान् कर्तासि मम पार्थिव,संवर्तने कहा--पृथ्वीनाथ! यदि मेरी इच्छाके अनुसार काम करो तो तुम जो कुछ चाहोगे, वह निश्चय ही पूर्ण होगा
Saṁvarta uvāca: cikīrṣasi yathākāmaṁ sarvam etat tvayi dhruvam; yadi sarvān abhiprāyān kartāsi mama pārthiva.
Saṁvarta said: “Whatever you wish to accomplish, all of it will surely be secured through you. But, O king, if you will carry out all my intentions, then what you desire will unfailingly come to completion.”
