tataḥ tam evaṃ-vādinaṃ pārtha-śiṣyaṃ guruḥ uvāca ha | sarvaṃ tu te pravakṣyāmi yatra vai saṃśayo dvija ||
Then the teacher addressed the disciple who had spoken in this manner: “O brāhmaṇa, I will explain to you everything about the matter in which you have doubt.”
वायुदेव उवाच
A genuine doubt, when expressed respectfully, is an invitation to complete instruction; the guru responds by promising a full explanation rather than partial or evasive answers.
After the disciple (linked with Pārtha/Arjuna) speaks, the teacher replies and assures him that he will clarify the entire issue about which the disciple is uncertain.
