Educational Q&A

Even amid the sorrowful aftermath of conflict, dharmic companionship and mutual goodwill can restore inner balance; shared, peaceful conduct becomes a source of ‘heaven-like’ contentment without dependence on external power or victory.

Vaiśampāyana describes the kings spending the night together, walking and conversing in one another’s company; this shared time produces great joy and a sense of supreme satisfaction, likened to the experience of heavenly beings.
