धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas
संजयं च महात्मानं कृपं चापि महारथम् | अनुनेतुमिहेच्छामि भवद्धिर्वसुधाधिपम्
sañjayaṃ ca mahātmānaṃ kṛpaṃ cāpi mahāratham | anunetum ihecchāmi bhavadbhir vasudhādhipam
Vaiśaṃpāyana said: “Here I wish, with your help, to gently persuade the lord of the earth—along with the noble Sañjaya and the great chariot-warrior Kṛpa.”
