धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas

त्वं तु शस्त्रभतां श्रेष्ठ सततं धर्मवत्सल:
Translation
But you are the foremost among those who bear arms, ever devoted to dharma. A king is worthy of reverence for all living beings, like a venerable teacher; therefore I make this request of you. O hero, once you grant me leave, I shall depart for the forest.
