श्वशुराय तत: कुन्ती प्रणम्य शिरसा तदा,तब कुन्तीने मस्तक झुकाकर श्वशुरको प्रणाम किया और लज्जित हो प्राचीन गुप्त रहस्यको प्रकट करते हुए कहा
śvaśurāya tataḥ kuntī praṇamya śirasā tadā
Vaiśaṃpāyana said: Then Kuntī bowed her head and offered reverence to her father-in-law. With modest restraint, she proceeded to disclose an ancient, long-concealed secret—signaling a moment where humility and truth-telling are placed above personal shame in the service of dharma.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
