vidyate na bhayaṃ cāpi paralokān mamānaghāḥ |
Vaiśaṃpāyana said: “O sinless sages, I have no fear at all of the next world. Indeed, merely by beholding you I have been purified; therefore there is no doubt that the hereafter holds no terror for me.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Association with the righteous—especially the direct sight (darśana) of sinless sages—is portrayed as spiritually purifying and as removing anxiety about one’s fate after death (paraloka).
In Vaiśaṃpāyana’s narration, a speaker expresses confidence about the hereafter, declaring that meeting and beholding the sages has purified him and dispelled any fear of the next world.
