वैशम्पायन उवाच
Dharma after war is expressed as stable governance: protection of citizens and the capital is a continuing royal obligation, best fulfilled through trusted delegates (a loyal kinsman and a guiding priest) acting under the king’s command.
As events move into the Āśramavāsika phase, Yudhiṣṭhira assigns Yuyutsu and the priest Dhaumya to remain in Hastināpura and organize the city’s security, ensuring order while elders and others proceed toward forest-life developments.
